Visita a las cascadas de Guanga

Hoy Una a Una ha reeditado una de sus rutas clásicas acercándose a las cascadas de Guanga, especialmente espectaculares en primavera por la generosa cantidad de agua que ofrecen.

Ruta circular: Las Caldas – Trubia – Guanga – San Andrés – Las Caldas (27/3/2016).

Distancia: 30 km / Tiempo: 4 h (con paradas).

Ruter@s: Rosa, Raquel, Marta, Susana, Javi, Juan y Felipe.

A las 10 de la mañana nos citamos en Las Caldas al lado de la Villa Termal. Felicitándonos por el perfecto día primaveral que se nos ofrecía nos pusimos en marcha siguiendo el curso del Nalón hasta Trubia. Continuamos hacia Las Cuestas y, siempre en subida, llegamos a Perlavia donde iniciamos la senda boscosa que lleva a las cascadas de Guanga.

Encontramos, por supuesto, suelo húmedo pero sin obstáculos graves ni los lodazales intransitables que otros años caracterizaban a esta travesía. Hacemos un alto en las cascadas, bien ganado por nuestra parte y bien merecido por el entorno incomparable. Hechas las oportunas fotos y repuesto el glucógeno con unos bocados iniciamos el trepidante descenso.

Camino de San Andrés los tramos rápidos y francos se alternan con requiebros de 180 grados y con pasos estrechos y técnicos que nos ponen a prueba y nos divierten. Perdemos toda la altura ganada y de nuevo en el valle del Trubia buscamos la Senda del Oso. Con ritmo tranquilo nos confundimos con la marea de gente que va y viene disfrutando del sol.

Pasamos de nuevo por Trubia y cambiamos de río para acompañas de nuevo al Nalón, ahora agua arriba. La senda fluvial nos deja en Caces y poco después  en nuestro punto de partida en la Villa Termal Las Caldas. Fueron cuatro horas de buen BTT que supusieron el inicio de la temporada primaveral en Una a Una
