Bosques de Teverga

Hoy nos hemos ido a Teverga para rodar a la estela de Juan y disfrutar del espectáculo otoñal de los bosques de Asturias.

Ruta circular: S. M. de Teverga – Cascada del Xiblu – La Focella – S. M. de Teverga (18/10/2015)

Longitud: 35 km / Tiempo: 4:30 h (con paradas) / Desnivel positivo acumulado: 750 m

Ruter@s: Azu, Charo, Mariajo, Juan y Rubén.

A las 10:30 de la mañana arrancábamos en San Martín de Teverga con dirección a Puerto Ventana. Un breve alto en páramo para admirar el texu milenario que da fama al lugar es el preludio de nuestra entrada en los bosques de Valgrande. El espectáculo del otoño es fascinante con protagonismo compartido de hayas, castaños, ablanos, robles… todos ellos esparciendo generosamente sus frutos por el suelo. IMG-20151018-WA0006Tras unos kilómetros duros aparcamos las bicis y subimos caminando durante cerca de un kilómetro para disfrutar de otra maravilla natural: la cascada del Xiblu, donde hacemos acopio de fotos.

Regresamos a por las trotonas y emprendemos un descenso rápido por el espeso bosque de la Biescona. Disfrutamos de buenos pasos técnicos y extremamos la precaución en algunas zonas empedradas y húmedas.IMG_1837 Llegamos finalmente a la Focella donde reponemos agua en los bidones. Toca volver a subir hasta ganar un collado que nos pone a prueba con un piso difícil sembrado de piedra suelta y trampas ocultas bajo la hojarasca. Sin descanso la senda nos ofrece una nueva bajada trepidante hasta San Salvador que superamos sin percances y con la sensación de habernos divertido a conciencia.IMG_1831

Afrontamos el último tramo de la ruta, más tranquilo, que nos ha de devolver a San Martín de Teverga habiendo completado una ruta hermosísima, con un tiempo óptimo y enriquecida con las difícilmente comparables estampas del otoño. Grandísimo trabajo de Juan para Una a Una guiando esta delicia de salida. Es sabido que nuestro club no es muy de barritas, geles, aminoácidos, electrolitos y demás cuchufletas. A cambio de tales refinamientos, he aquí nuestro final de ruta: pote de berzas, cabrito, jabalí estofado y postres caseros varios. Olé, olé.
