Subida a La Degollada

Hoy hemos vuelto a Grado para desde allí partir, guiadas por Elena, camino de La Degollada en una ruta entretenida, con muchos contrastes y espectaculares espacios boscosos.

 

Ruta circular: Grado – La Degollada – Grado (22/2/2015)

Longitud: 23 km / Tiempo: 4 h (con paradas) / Desnivel positivo acumulado: 623 m

A las 10:00 de la mañana, de nuevo con mal tiempo y frío, comenzamos a rodar en Grado saliendo de la villa por la vega del Nalón aguas arriba. Nos tomamos con calma, a modo de calentamiento, el tránsito hasta Peñaflor donde cruzamos el río. Poco después, en Bolgues, abandonando el asfalto comienza el gran reto del día: el ascenso a Sierra de Pedroso. Con algunos pasos técnicos y pisando a veces grava, a veces piedra, a veces tierra, vamos ganándole altura al monte y disfrutando, en la medida de lo posible, del paisaje boscoso que nos rodea. Sí o sí, las piernas van entrando en calor.IMG_3747

Una hora larga después de haber metido el plato pequeño conquistamos el primer alto donde disfrutamos de un descanso y nos regalamos un tentempié. Los bien conservados restos de la Guerra Civil (trincheras, búnkers…) nos tienen entretenidas un rato y nos ofrecen un buen decorado para las fotos. De nuevo en marcha, circulamos por los toboganes de la Sierra de Pedroso, frontera natural entre los concejos de Candamo y Las Regueras, donde un sinfín de pistas forestales dan a los amantes del BTT múltiples opciones para disfrutar de sus máquinas.IMG_3749

Potentes repechos y bajadas técnicas nos ponen a prueba en un perfil muy quebrado que en general sigue ganando altura a medida que rodeamos el parque eólico pasando por Las Ablanosas, El Tabláu y El Pinal. Vamos describiendo un amplio lazo y disfrutando de buenas vistas al valle de Grullos. Entramos y salimos sin cesar de hermosas manchas boscosas sin encontrar ningún pueblo y acabamos regresando a Llavadorios con cerca de tres horas de esfuerzo en las piernas. Pero las subidas por hoy se han acabado y es momento de buscar una buena y divertida bajada.IMG_3748

Por una variante distinta a la que empleamos para subir emprendemos el descenso de El Pedroso. Tomamos una pista bastante radical que nos hace perder altura con gran rapidez, con buenas dosis de diversión y que en pocos minutos nos devuelve a las cercanías de Bolgues, a los pies del Nalón. Dejamos correr las bicis camino de Peñaflor y tras cruzar por segunda vez hoy su puente medieval afrontamos un plácido regreso a Grado. Pasadas las 14:00 la capital moscona nos ve llegar. Ha sido una gran ruta, variada y salpicada de desafíos y agradecemos a Elena su gran trabajo hoy para Una a Una.
