La cumbre del Primiello, con cerca de 1300 metros de altura, fue el escenario de otra aventura invernal de Una a Una en la montaña oriental asturiana.

Longitud: 9,2 km / Tiempo: 4:30 h (con paradas) / Desnivel positivo acumulado: 876 m.

Ruter@s: Rosa, Noelia, Luz, Marga, Conchi, Mónica, Mery, Begoña, Lucía, Pili, Piniella y Javi.

A las 9:00 de la mañana nos citábamos en Cangas de Onís con la esperanza de que el café del desayuno nos sirviera para aclarar ideas y decidir una ruta adecuada a los malos pronósticos meteorológicos del día. Con una cota de nieve prevista para 800 metros y una probabilidad de lluvia alta para toda la mañana acordamos afrontar una ruta corta y no ganar demasiada altura. El Primiello, una cumbre media de la sierra de Amieva con una bonita travesía, será finalmente el elegido por Rosa y Piniella en cuyos expertos criterios confiamos ciegamente.

El cordal de Amieva corre en dirección Sur-Este entre las gargantas del Sella y el Dobra y va ganando altura a medida que avanza hacia el Sur hasta fundirse con el cuerpo de la Cordillera Cantábrica y con las estribaciones occidentales de los Picos de Europa. Nosotros iniciamos su conquista en San Román, a pocos kilómetros de Sames (a donde se accede por la N-625 desde Cangas de Onís. Alrededor de las 10:00 de la mañana estamos calzadas, equipadas y listas para ponernos en marcha deseosas de ir entrando en calor y combatir el intenso frío que hace.

Sendas embarradas en la primera parte de la marcha van dando paso a zonas boscosas con praderías y turberas a medida que ganamos altura. Con ritmo ligero alcanzamos los 1000 metros de altitud donde nos ganamos nuevos enemigos: nieve en el suelo y en el cielo un viento gélido del Sur que arrastra mucha niebla y nos priva de las hermosas vistas que ofrece esta sierra. Llueve intermitentemente así que no hacemos muchas paradas y mantenemos un ritmo constante que nos mantiene el calor corporal y nos acerca a la cumbre rápidamente.

Cerca de tres horas después de iniciada la marcha llegamos a la cima del Primiello. Hace bastante frío acentuado por el fuerte viento pero no renunciamos a una buena sesión de fotos antes de iniciar el descenso. Hacemos una bajada rápida sin pausas ni distracciones ya que el día sigue cerrado de niebla y orbayu, y regresamos a San Román con ganas de ponernos ropa seca y dispuestas a compartir una agradable comida en La Huera con la que cerrar otro domingo de deporte, naturaleza y aventura en Una a Una.
