Encabezadas por Rosa varias de nuestras chicas partieron ayer para Nepal con un triple objetivo: lúdico, deportivo y solidario.

Rosa, Raquel, Mariví, Rosana, Mariajo, Araceli y Laura tienen previsto hacer el trekking que las llevará nada menos que al Campo Base del Everest remontando el curso del glaciar Khumbu tras haber iniciado la marcha de aproximación en Lukla y pasado por Namche Bazaar y Gokyo.

A continuación tienen previsto intentar el ascenso a la cumbre del Lobuche, una cima de 6000 metros enclavada en el parque nacional de Sagarmatha.

Y como tantas veces Una a Una volverá a demostrar su compromiso solidario. En algún momento de las tres semanas que pasarán en Nepal nuestras chicas visitarán las instalaciones de la ONG Maiti Nepal y harán entrega a sus responsables del dinero recaudado en varios actos que nuestro club ha promovido en los últimos meses. Maiti Nepal da acogida a cientos de niños y niñas nepalíes que han caído en manos de las redes de tráfico humano y en el infame pozo de la esclavitud sexual.
