Preciosa ruta hoy en la Sierra del Naranco sazonada por una climatología adversa que le añadió mérito y valor. Hermosas vistas de Oviedo, buenas rampas y mucha humedad en el aire y en el suelo fueron protagonistas de este domingo en Una a Una.
Ruta circular: Oviedo – Loriana – Pico Paisano – Oviedo (18/1/2015)
Longitud: 22’5 km / Tiempo: 3:00 h (con paradas) / Desnivel positivo acumulado: 533 m
Ruter@s: Puri, Mone, Mariví, Ángel y Félix
Nos ponemos en marcha pasadas las 9:30 de la mañana mirando con recelo al cielo. Hace frío, hay mucha humedad, pero no llueve y la moral es alta. Salimos de la capital por La Florida y pasamos por San Lázaro de Paniceres antes de meternos en el Camino de Santiago por el que rodaremos unos kilómetros que hacen de precalentamiento.
A la altura de Loriana nos desviamos a la derecha y cambiamos el firme relativamente cómodo del Camino para adentrarnos en los bosques de El Mansu y La Cruz que nos reciben con un piso muy húmedo con numerosos pasos embarrados. Con dirección Norte vamos ganando altura y disfrutando de intensos momentos beteteros con compromiso técnico y físico.
Pasamos a los pies del Pico Rebollal y en El Caballu Pinto giramos hacia el Este para afrontar una rampa hormigonada muy dura que nos aúpa hasta el multicolor monolito que corona la subida de Brañes al Violeo. Un merecido descanso y unas fotos nos entretienen apenas unos minutos, pues hace ya rato que cae un orballu fino que nos va calando y amenaza enfriarnos.
Continuamos la carretera que crestea el naranco hasta la vaquería de La Texera y nos metemos en la transnaranconiana. La primera y durísima rampa nos saca los colores y nos vacía las piernas. Bajamos con cuidado y enseguida llega la segunda; bajada trepidante, y la tercera. Cinco bajadas y cinco temibles subidas nos tienen peleando un buen rato.
Por fin alcanzamos La Portillona donde el terreno se vuelve más clemente. Pasamos frente a la fuente y seguimos en dirección al Sagrado Corazón. Por momentos la lluvia se vuelve más insistente así que decidimos comenzar la bajada rápidamente. Buscamos una salida sin mucha dificultad técnica y tomamos rumbo Oeste para aparecer encima del Centro Asturiano.
Bordeándolo por su flanco Norte accedemos a San Miguel de Lillo tras superar con cuidado una pista descendente llena de barro, piedras y hojarasca que nos obliga a extremar las precauciones para no estropear lo que hasta ahora es una jornada magnífica de ciclismo. Ya por carretera nos dejamos ir hasta Oviedo sufriendo los últimos mordiscos del frío y la humedad.
Una a Una se las vio hoy con el crudo invierno y de nuevo salió triunfante. Preciosa y trabajada ruta naranquiana y mérito extra para Ángel y Mone que se animaron a venir desde Cangas hasta Oviedo. Impresionante, por cierto, la progresión de la canguesa que mejora cada día que se sube a la bici. Rematamos un bonito domingo con una comida llena de risas, buen humor y compañerismo. Más no se puede pedir.
