I Encuentro Ciclista Femenino y Plural

Con un éxito incontestable Una a Una organizó este fin de semana el I Encuentro Ciclista Femenino y Plural con la presencia de 50 ciclistas venidas a Asturias desde múltiples rincones de España.

El viernes varias socias de Una a Una se desplazaban hasta la Villa Termal Las Caldas para recibir a las chicas que iban llegando desde fuera de Asturias dispuestas a disfrutar de la bicicleta y de nuestra región.

El sábado a las 9 de la mañana un multicolor pelotón se dividía en dos grupos para iniciar las rutas programadas adaptadas a todos los niveles. El buen humor y el optimismo presidían la salida en Las Caldas.

Comandadas por Rosa  y acompañadas por la supercampeona y madrina de Una a Una Rocío Gamonal, las inscritas en la ruta de nivel alto eran las primeras en salir. Durante casi 6 horas y 45 kilómetros las chicas pelearon con algunas buenas rampas y todo tipo de terrenos. El punto culminante fue la subida a las cascadas de Guanga, preludio de la trepidante bajada desde ellas para retornar al valle del Trubia. Tras acercarnos a saludar a Paca y Tola emprendimos el regreso al punto de partida.

Y poco después, a las órdenes de Mariví echaban a rodar las adscritas a la ruta de nivel bajo dirigiéndose a la Senda del Oso. Acompañando a los ríos Nalón y Trubia las chicas disfrutaron de 4 horas largas  y 20 kilómetros de terreno amable para rodar cómodas y disfrutar de la naturaleza primaveral asturiana que las llevó hasta Proaza antes de regresar a Las Caldas.

A media tarde todos los grupos estaban de vuelta en el hotel dispuestos a disfrutar de un merecido premio en el Aquaxana de la Villa Termal. A continuación las chicas pudieron asistir a las interesantísimas conferencias que sobre nutrición deportiva y biomécanica ciclista ofrecieron Yolanda Vázquez (Sportlife) y Guillermo Gutiérrez (Las Caldas Villa Termal) respectivamente. Rematamos una jornada memorable con una cena de hermandad coronada con el sorteo de regalos, música y un magnífico ambiente entre la familia del deporte  reunida esta vez en torno a Una a Una.

El domingo a las 9 de la mañana estábamos de nuevo dispuestas a subirnos a las bicis. Por la Senda de Fuso nos acercamos hasta Oviedo e iniciamos una original ruta urbana que iba a llevarnos por todos los rincones de la capital asturiana. La Catedral, las estatuas de Woody Allen y Mafalda, Trascorrales, el parque de San Francisco, la Escandalera o el enclave prerrománico de Santa María del Naranco y San Miguel de Lillo hicieron las delicias de las ruteras tanto foráneas como locales. Las explicaciones de las Una a Una encantaron a nuestras visitantes y las introdujeron en el pasado y presente de nuestra ciudad.

A continuación subimos hasta el Sagrado Corazón para disfrutar de su espectacular mirador antes de sumergirnos en la emoción de una vibrante bajada por las laderas y senderos del Naranco, preludio de un plácido regreso a Las Caldas.

Una última comida conjunta sirvió de broche a un inolvidable fin de semana lleno de emociones, deporte, naturaleza y buen ambiente.
