Belén de Cumbres en Picu El Rasu

Cumpliendo con la tradición navideña hemos subido a la Cordillera a dejar nuestro Belén de Cumbres, acompañadas de la buena gente del Grupo Pico Fario.

Longitud: 12 km / Tiempo: 4:30 h (con paradas) / Desnivel positivo acumulado: 600 m

Tras el encuentro y desayuno en Cangas de Onís subimos al Collao Llomena para dejar los coches y comenzar la jornada. Pasadas las 10 de la mañana nos pusimos en marcha alcanzando media hora después Les Bedules por un camino empinado pero de buen andar. Tomamos entonces la senda del Bosque de Peloño que pronto abandonamos por su derecha. Entramos entonces en un robledal espectacular que nos desafía con una subida sostenida de buena pendiente y con las vistas al Recuenco y al Collao del Zorro.WP_20151219_12_56_39_Pro

No encontramos a nadie en el camino, pero dado lo multitudinaria de la convocatoria de hoy nos bastamos para llenar la montaña de barullo y risas. Sin prisas vamos alcanzando los prados del Collao Les Llampes donde hacemos una parada y reagrupamiento. Ya se domina una buena panorámica de Picos y también del objetivo de hoy. Con su forma de pirámide al Pico El Rasu nos reclama y allá vamos enfrentándonos a su cara norte y observando, desconsolados el incendio que asola Peña Salón, al otro lado del valle.IMG-20151219-WA0015

El camino seco y despejado entre hayas, acebos, robles y algún espino fastidioso nos hace ganar altura rápidamente y en media hora la cabeza del pelotón está llegando a la cumbre. Con todo el grupo en la cima instalamos los belenes de cumbres de Una a Una y del grupo Pico Fario. Nos entretenemos un largo rato haciendo fotos, charlando y tomando un bocado. El hermoso día que nos acompaña nos vuelve perezosos para abandonar la cumbre pero finalmente nos echamos monte abajo.IMG-20151219-WA0012

Tomamos una variante distinta a la de la subida buscamos caer sobre la senda del Bosque de Peloño por la que regresamos a Les Bedules. Un último tramo descendente nos devuelve a Llomena completando ruta. Una divertida merienda-cena en Puente la Huera hizo de gran broche a otra jornada de naturaleza y gran ambiente compartida esta vez con una buena representación de los amigos y amigas del grupo Pico Fario.
