Hoy Una a Una rodó con los chicos de la Sociedad Cicloturista Asturiana en una ruta variada y entretenida que nos llevó desde Oviedo hasta Grado y de regreso a la capital.
Ruta circular: Oviedo – El Escamplero – Grado – Trubia – Oviedo. (14/2/2015)
Longitud: 56 km / Tiempo: 5:30 h (con paradas) / Desnivel positivo acumulado: 1152 m.
Ruter@s: Rosa, Puri, Mariajo, Noelia, Luz, Natalia, Sandri, Eloy, Félix y los chicos de la S.C.T.A.
A las 10 de la mañana se concentraba en la Losa de Renfe un numeroso pelotón de ciclistas congregados por la Sociedad Cicloturista Asturiana y por Una a Una. Con dudosos pronósticos meteorológicos salimos de Oviedo tomando el Camino de Santiago en San Lázaro de Paniceres en dirección a Gallegos. Cruzado el Nora giramos a la derecha abandonando la carretera y afrontamos la subida a El Escamplero por una senda trialera y dura. Tras unos kilómetros de buena pelea llegamos al alto y nos reagrupamos. Nos espera ahora un tramo tranquilo camino de Valsera, ya en el concejo de Las Regueras.
El tiempo sigue bueno y la moral alta. Nos metemos en el espectacular tramo boscoso que entre requiebros y pasos húmedos nos baja a Casa Nueva tras cruzar el arroyo Andayón y a los espacios abiertos de la vega del río Nalón. A partir de Paladín el terreno se vuelve llano y durante unos kilómetros acompañamos al río aguas abajo hasta llegar a Grado. Cumplidas dos horas largas de ruta hacemos un alto en la villa moscona para reponer fuerzas y enseguida emprendemos la vuelta hacia Oviedo. Desandando el camino superamos Peñaflor, cruzamos su milenario puente y nos dirigimos a Valduno.
Tras una parada en las termas romanas de Santa María de Grado giramos hacia Vega de Anzo pasando de nuevo sobre el río. Con pendiente siempre desfavorable y algunos tramos duros al final transitamos la senda fluvial del Nalón y subimos a Priañes. Una trepidante bajada asfaltada nos deja en San Pedro de Nora desde donde rodamos tranquilas hasta Trubia. Cruzamos el río, buscamos los alrededores de la fábrica y aguas arriba del Nalón tomamos el camino de enlace entre las sendas de Fuso y del Oso alternando tramos de asfalto con pasos beteteros y sorteando algún humedal.
Superamos Caces y en Las Caldas circulamos unos kilómetros pegadas al Nalón hasta llegar a los alrededores del campo de golf. Nuestro aspecto (cansadas, sudadas y rebozadas de barro) y el de los golfistas (impecables y monísimos) nos hace pensar si no habremos equivocado el deporte. Ya es tarde para arrepentirse, al fin y al cabo sólo nos queda por hoy un paseo final tranquilo que nos devuelva a Oviedo en el Parque de Invierno. Interesante y multitudinaria ruta que nos hermanó con los compañeros de la S.C.T.A. a quienes agradecemos su invitación y buena compañía en este domingo invernal.
