En el Pico Maoño

Hoy Una a Una planeó una ruta montañera que nos llevó hasta los 1429 metros de la cumbre del Pico Maoño.

Con una mañana prometedoramente despejada nos pusimos en marcha en el área recreativa de La Pesanca, en el concejo de Piloña.

Una pista abierta recientemente nos llevó hasta la majada de Curueño donde tomamos un sendero que conduce a la majada de Traslafuente ganando espectaculares vistas al Pierzo.

Ya en el límite entre Piloña y Caso, no lejos del río Infierno y sobre el valle del arroyo Degoes alcanzamos la majada Traslafuente.

Desde aquí la pendiente se acentúa y metidas de lleno entre brumas nos fuimos directas a por la cumbre del Maoño.

Hubiera sido un buen colofón la subida a Peña Crespa, pero dado que es zona privada y tocaba jornada de caza no fue posible esta vez.

Emprendimos el regreso por el mismo camino de subida completando una agradable jornada montañera a la que solo le faltó que la pertinaz niebla nos permitiera disfrutar de buenas vistas en la cumbre.
